Acupuncturists
Danica Thornberry, L.Ac., founded Well Women Acupuncture in 2001. She combined her scientific background in Molecular Biology with her interest in women’s spiritual transformation, to create a new and empowering style of acupuncture intended to help today’s women raise their level of conscious awareness, as well as their fertility rates. She has been featured twice on the Lifetime TV show “Speaking of Women’s Health,” where she presented acupuncture as an effective treatment for infertility and PMS.
Virginia Prior, L.Ac., was trained in the Well Women Acupuncture tradition after completing a fertility-focused, post-graduate level internship with Randine Lewis, L.Ac., the author of The Infertility Cure. Feeling called to work with women and a strong desire to practice an alternative form of medicine, she was naturally guided to study acupuncture for women’s health. Her compassionate nature and excellent listening skills provide the empathy and wisdom women need during the emotionally challenging aspects of fertility protocols.
Massage Therapists
Elaine Woolley, C.M.T., works with the Well Women Acupuncture team as their in-house massage therapist. Her “Warm Heart, Hot Hands” approach to massage has an amazing ability to soothe patients and facilitate the release of their emotional pain, as well as physical pain. Currently a third year student of acupuncture, Elaine has been working with the fertility patients at Well Women for over two years, and has learned to intuitively understand their needs at all different stages of the fertility journey.
Michelle German, C.M.T., has been practicing massage therapy for seven years.
